Lemon Grass Tea
Ingredients: 100% Lemon Grass in leaves (Cymbopogon citratus).
Composition: This herb contains about 70 percent citrus essential oil, which is also found in the peel of lemon and orange, and which helps synthesize vitamin A.
Besides being undoubtedly sedative, this oil is still used in perfumery. It also contains in smaller quantities, depending on the type of plant, geraniol, linalool, nerol and citronellal.
Properties: Analgesic, antidepressant and antibacterial. The lemon grass fights perspiration and athlete’s foot and serves as an insect repellent. In the form of compresses, it is used to relieve muscle and rheumatic pains and also skin infections. It is widely used to relieve digestive problems and calm the nervous system.
Water temperature: 100º
Infusion time: 4 – 6 minutes.
Recommended dose: 1 teaspoon per person. Approx. 2grs / cup.
