Shipping methods and delivery times

Delivery times for mainland Portugal:

  • Registered CTT – 1 to 3 working days
  • CTT EXPRESSO – 1 business day
  • Deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Delivery times for Madeira and Azores:

  • Registered CTT – 2 to 5 business days
  • CTT EXPRESSO – 2 to 7 business days
  • Deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Delivery times throughout Europe:

  • Registered CTT – 3 to 10 working days
  • CTT EXPRESSO – 3 to 10 working days
  • Deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

 

All shipments to Mainland Portugal and Islands are made via CTT EXPRESSO or Registered Mail with the 1st delivery attempt at the address indicated by the customer, and, in case of absence at this location, a postal notice will be left in your mailbox for later collection at post office in your area of residence.

All orders will be shipped after payment confirmation.

 

Maximum deadline for picking up orders:

  • The order must be picked up within 5 working days after receiving the notice in your mailbox.
  • The order is returned to Frutos d’alegria after the withdrawal deadline has expired.
  • Shipping costs for the order to be borne by the customer
  • In case of refund, shipping costs are excluded.

 

Costs for reshipping orders due to errors attributable to the customer:

  • Mainland Portugal – €3.00 *
  • Madeira and Azores – Cost to be defined after return *
  • Europe – Cost to be defined after return *

Example of errors attributable to the customer:

  • Wrong or incomplete address
  • The failure to pick up the order from the CTT counter after a postal notice and within the established deadlines

 

Exchanges or Returns

  • All orders have 14 working days to claim or return after the delivery date.
  • Return costs will be borne by the customer whenever the reason is his responsibility.
  • Return costs will be borne by our company whenever the reason is our responsibility.
  • Exchanges or returns of items will not be accepted under the following conditions:
    • that are not sealed,
    • that are open
    • that were somehow tried or violated
    • with damaged packaging or with slight signs of use.

Prices and VAT

All prices indicated on this website include VAT at the legal rate in force and will be correctly itemized on the invoice. We reserve the right, without prior notice, to change prices, postage or any other value indicated here, as well as the carrier or transport company. Price changes will never have retroactive effect on purchases already completed.
