Ingredients: 100% Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis), natural and  unflavoured.

What is Rooibos tea?

Rooibos is a bush plant originating exclusively from South Africa. Because of its colour, it is also called ‘red tea’ (although it should not be confused with the type of  Pu-erh red tea, coming from the sinensis camellia plant). Rooibos tea does not have any kind of theine and can be drunken by anyone.

Since it is rich in flavonoids, it helps lowering the bad cholesterol and regulates blood pressure. It is considered a moderate diuretic.

In South Africa, this tea is usually drunken with sugar or honey and a slice of lemon. Rooibos tea has a high rate of antioxidants that are beneficial to the body.

It is a kind of tea that does not get bitter if it stays too long in infusion.

Pure and natural, it does not contain additives, preservatives or dyes. It has a very pleasant, sweet taste and various therapeutic properties.

Water temperature: 100º

Infusion time: 3 – 5 minutes

Recommended dose: 2 teaspoons per person. Approx. 4gr per cup.
